Still worried, but, glad my dad is where he needs to be.

Sugar levels still to high to measure with the usual measuring tools. Haven't heard the last results yet, bar from it being that high that it needed to be evaluated in the lab again. There are no signs of infection. Tomorrow they'll ultrasound his kidneys and pancreas.
He is less sleepy though. So, there is some progress. Not at all fit to leave medium care though.

Thinking of you and your family, I'm glad your dad is being well cared for.

That sounds nerve wracking.

Putting the nerve wrecking on ignore does give me a headache. He is where he needs to be. Don't want to think beyond that at the moment. Knowing how in his family people have been with extreme sugar levels, it can go anywhere from here. But, it is not good. And, this developing in about a week is scary.

Pretty good

it feels so fucking great to get emails off my tutor with "Hi Adam," at the start

bank statements etc is one thing, but off someone you know and respect is a whole other thing.

It's one of the best feelings ever isn't it? :D  :asthing: (cheerlearding)

Worst feelings is when someone you respect chooses, knowing all the facts, to continue to call you by your old name. Evem if it's when refering to you to other people while you're not there, it still sucks.

Ever since I put up a pole in the bathroom to hang clothes from, my neck and upper back are sore at the end of the day.  It's been 6 days.  Getting old, lady.

How did you put the pole up and how high up is it?  If you have to look up and reach up to use it, maybe you could be straining your neck and upper back muscles?

Well I only had one person in mind for the "Evemn if it's when referring to you to other people while you're not there, it still sucks." But beyond that, most people I know only know Kayleigh. I mean they know I'm trans and that I "used to be male", but they've only ever known Kayleigh.

It's one of the tension poles from floor to ceiling that was popular in the 60s and 70s to hang plants from.  I had to struggle to get the poles and plastics and spring/coil to fit properly.  Finally just cut the last piece of plastic, plonked it on and duct taped it.  I simply drape my clothes over the plant holders.  Looks like this:

BTW, WTF???  $25 + SH?  The price tag on mine was $3.99.  (Holdover from when we cleaned out Mom's house.)

Happy, hearing that the blood-sugar levels are back to a safe 10.5 now.

That's much better!  I hope the doctors know how your dad can maintain that.  :)
