Felt fine this morning but am meh-ish now. Stomach is upset for some reason too.

Boy's best friend's mom is dying of cancer (she's at home), they don't expect her to make it though the day. Had him stay over last night and let the both of them basically destroy the house as only 12 year old boys can do. 

Fuck it, fuck it all.

His mom is a year younger than me.

That's awful that he is losing his mom like that.  I'm glad that you could give him a break from it.

Wow. cancer scares the shit out of me. that poor lad. can't imagine what that must be like on a kid

His dad was actually diagnosed with some rare for a cancer a few years back and they were traveling back & forth out of state for treatments for awhile, he's okay now, but as soon as he got the "all clear", she got sick and was diagnosed with leukemia, she went into remission for awhile, but it came back last fall.

The whole area they're in (a mile or 2 up the road) seems to be one big "cluster fuck" of it over the last 10 years or so.

My Dearest Friend's niece (Shannon) went from clean PAP smears to Stage 4 cervical cancer in 1 year (poor readings from the lab).  She was divorced and the dad (Brad) had given up custody of their son.  Even when they were married they lived with her folks.  Shannon died a few years back on Father's Day.  The dad got custody, although the boy visits almost every weekend.
