Worried. Mum supposedly left for QLD this morning and she hasn't got there yet :(

Are you able to reach her by cellphone?  Maybe she just got delayed in traffic.  :orly:

My brother has been ringing and it goes to her message bank.

Any chance she forgot to charge the phone?

That's a good point, or maybe she turned it off and forgot to turn it back on!  :orly:

I dunno, she never answers the phone anyway. It's my brothers house she was driving to in Brisbane. Her friend here back home is staying in the house for a few days so I've left a message for her on mum's machine. Her friend must be out at dinner or something. I don't have her friends mobile number.

Silly mum, she really ought to answer the phone so you don't worry.  :-\

Just got through to the other brother and asked if he'd heard from her; "oh, relax, she probably just left late in the day, no biggie, sheesh"

Err, dude, you weren't here that time we had to ring an ambulance for her :finger:

And it's now 9:55pm.

When she arrives at her destination, will she be staying with/meeting anyone?
Can you contact them and see if anyone knows anything at that end?  :orly:

I wish I had my brother's number handy but I don't. She was supposed to be turning up on his doorstep to stay the night. It's probably too late to ring anyone now anyway, and he works odd shifts so he's probably at work atm. I've checked the RTA website and stuff, no traffic delays or accidents listed. Her friend staying at home would be the only one who would know what time she left town today, and she still hasn't got my message.

If you have your brother's work number, it might be worth trying that.

Yes, that'd be about 12 hours of driving for her :P

Her friend phone me just as I found she had made a charge on my GoVia account (toll roads) so she made it over the gateway bridge at least.

No lol. Just her friend finally came home and got my message and explained it all. Mum must have rang her during the day.
