Bummer!
My wife has similar with allergies. She has had to be outside in the smoke these past weeks with her work, UPS Early AM air driver.
She is on vacation this week. As a "tenured" driver she has first call as to which vacation weeks she can choose. She always gets the Holidays for her vacation week. I'm sure most think of as The Asshole, but she has earned it!
She is now three years from retirement. If she can manage to stick it out for three more years, she will retire with full pay, which for a full time driver is a substantial income.
We will never want for anything, ever.
I keep telling her to just take it now as it stands and we'll make do and we can spend these times together, but nope! She wants everything she has worked toward. She has quite a lot of German in her, too.
Her allergies could possibly make her rethink if this Canadian fire shit does not stop soon!
