Better than usual.

I have been working in my wood shop and having fun. Old buttock muscle injury is claiming "next" as a problem, due to so much standing and planing on the sides of my new box.

... but all in all a great day!

I feel tired... but I'm not tired enough that I need to shave, brush my teeth, shower, and go the *frack to sleep.

Treasure this day and go make yourself happier, since you seem to be receptive to joy today.

If only we could store some for later, right?

One of the better days in a while as far as all the arthritus stuff is concerned.

Decided to get some work done. I'm building an "H" frame subwoofer system. It is already going, but progress continues today.

I'm feeling anxious about the Christmas shopping. It seems the older I get, the less I like giving gifts and have switched to almost exclusively giving consumables, except when it's for a child or I know for certain an item is specifically wanted. Sugarbutt also likes making handmade gifts so that makes it easier for me too. I feel like I should have more done by now, but I know I need to wait until after Halloween to get cool seasonal stuff that can't be found everyday. I'm trying to be chill about it and tell myself it will all come together quickly, but it's not working. :GA:

It's easy. Just buy a new home and declare all birthdays, holidays of any sort and random gift giving events completely off.
We all have all our gifts for the year! We have an amazing new home and we are grateful.
Then you don't have any shoppping to do.

Unfortunately, I got a dishwasher for my birthday. My wife got a water softener for Mother's Day.
So even working at it we can't get the wrinkles out of that plan.

Actually, I made her a fabulous meal for Mother's Day (foot massage, but that's about it unless you were watching). And my family gave me a hard core blade, a huge book I wanted, chocolates from afar, and a hoody in addition to a dishwasher for my birthday.
Good plan, but we don't seem to be able to keep to the basics of the idea.

I've already bought a huge Indian pancho, made by Navaho single moms to promote their safe place, for my daughter's birthday. (one way we give back is to buy their crafts)

It's a good plan.
But it does not work as well as it sounds like it might.

Wide awake... nothing going on tomorrow except helping Dad with a few things, and watching Star Trek
