Ohh! another Gits fan. Really liked Arise. Have you watch 2045? I felt it had good bit, but you kinda had to ignore the animation style.

I'm not enough of a fan to seek more, but Arise is my son's favorite and we've watched it several times together.
He has it all.

I'm intrigued by the story line and kind of wish there was a top run live action movie that might check a few more of my boxes.

There is a live action Ghost in the Shell, but it is considered quite terrible. It's hard when the anime is over the top excellent. My personal favourite is the first season of Ghost in the Shell SAC.
