Still fighting off the blight that the kid brought home from school last week. :P

Calmer after having another flare of rage last night from reading about someone else's problems
and over-empathizing.  The same things keep cropping up and making me irrationally angry,
year after year.  I have to find a better way to deal with this.  Getting this angry over other people's
problems and my own related old baggage doesn't serve me in any way.  It's exhausting!  :apondering:

Itchy and uncomfortable.

Worn out.

I danced my arse off. I feel like my body needs traction. I am gonna be in pain later, LOL. I have drunk a heap and sweated a lot of it out. I do not want to play Dad tomorrow afternoon. I am knackered.

More than any of this, I am pleased with myself. I was invited to a party to people I did not know. 1 night warning. I made a great impression and all of the birthday girl's friends are saying that I am cool and trying to match make us.

That will not go anywhere, but it is a nice result.
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

It was funny because I was the only bloke dancing in the group of girls and one of which was my daughter. They were asking each other who I was and my daughter said "Yeah, that's my Dad". Then after finding out I was single, they were trying to match-make. It was funny. The Birthday girl said that all of her friends thought that I was cool. I had originally said that I not sure I would go because I was a hermit and was shy (read completely socially oblivious and autistic) she had forewarned them that a friend would be coming who did not know anyone, was shy and to keep an eye out for him. They all said "He's not shy". Alcohol is the great equaliser. Makes everyone less socially aware. :)

I missed out on a lot of dancing at the start of the night because my daughter was  up dancing and I did not want to go up and embarrass her. She ended up dragging me and and was rapt that I could dance and was far from embarrassed. It was a great night.
