Afraid, very afraid.  A dear friend's daughter (handicapped and the "cousin" of the PR) called me with news that the Doctor's appointment for the daughter is "probably not good news."  I'll go over to her house when she calls me that she's home.

They're scheduling a second opinion.  The good thing in her favour is that benign tumours (tubers) are fairly common in TSC individuals.

They're going for a second opinion.  I'm guessing surgery will be necessary regardless of the outcome.
