A bit stressed. Not sure what time I should be going to my sister's tomorrow so I will get there for lunch time. Don't know what I should be bringing by way of food so I am taking a Christmas chocolate mud cake (it has Merry Christmas written on it). I didn't make it, I bought it. Don't know if I will be looked down upon for it. I am not too good at making food.

Plus there's the hugging upon getting there and then again upon leaving. I really wish I could skip that. Then there's my weight issue and how obvious it is that it is noticed.

Fuck, I wish I could just stay in bed.

Tired. Made the annual pasta salad for the party at SO's bar tomorrow.

Making ham and fixings tomorrow for here and some to send up MIL's...who says she isn't making anything...but I'm betting she calls down demanding SO and the kid to come up and eat dinner there because she "suddenly decided" to cook a turkey :yawn:...be glad when the annual drama fest is over and done with.

I brought an arretjes cake. Pity it doesn't stay well in heat. It has combines crunchy with the delightful chocolate overload of a chocolate mud cake, without it taking that long to make. Doesn't even need an oven.

Thanks. X-mas went OK most of the time, really well in the afternoon, and we got through an overload/meltdown situation in the evening too.

Afternoon with family was sooo quiet. Most kids and a few grown-ups outside playing a game (very soft weather) and other half of the group inside, colouring mandalas in silence. Very nice.
