It is now 3:20 and I'm up from my bed.  Hopefully I can nap while the PR is in surgery.  PA is coming with us, so he can drive home if I'm too sleepy.  And go get the pain pills and ice cream.

Knackered.  I've been up for about 36 hours with only the occasional cat nap.  Did all the driving, errands, most of the sitting with the PR (only 1 visitor at a time and it's not really appropriate for a father to help a grown-up daughter with some things), phone calls, etc.  I still have to stay up another 3 hours to give her the midnight pain pill.  At least PA is an early riser and will give her the 6 a.m. one.

(Please note that PA has vision problems and only feels comfortable driving to 3 or 4 places around our neighborhood, so I'm the family chauffeur.)
