So many I^2 people going to the doctors for things..... maybe we should have a heath intervention on here.  :apondering:

My kid brought this home, he's in cyber school...but he still has to visit his friend who isn't and bring me all the latest diseases at the start of school. :GA:

Some kind of nasty respiratory bug this year.

You should send him to school a hazmat suit...

:P

I remember those days...take some vitamin C and it'll help.
Can't you guys even just imagine it?

Forget practicality, or your experience....can you just....imagine?

It's there. It always was.

The beginning of the school year and returning after winter hols = sickness.  Everyone shares what they've brought from home AND the school's ventilation system has been down for a bit and spews out heaven knows what.

I didn't know it could present without a rash. :-\

I suspect a rheumatologist would have thought about it, though. He suspects I may have psoriatic arthritis.

Yes, it can come without a rash.
And it hurts a lot.

Had it a few years ago. First a few days under the weather and feverish. A while after that my fingers and toes started aching, took a few months, before it was gone, for me. For some it takes way longer.

Did not think about it again, till last week, it suddenly was back for a day, not very strong, but every small joint did ache, and felt swollen. Sometimes it is just back, for one or two days. When it happened last week, I thought of you.

Would it show in the blood work?

Relieved. Doctor took me serious. Time to go to the pharmacist and pick up some high dosage diclofenac.
No one should leave this bovine behind in the fields for birds of prey now.

Ah, I'm on that also.

I was too, but it didn't help me much. They gave me something called Orudis instead.

Does that make your remnants suitable as vulture fodder?

What are the criteria for that?

Look at the average age, of people writing about doctors. It explains a lot, alas.

 :apondering:

But y'all aren't really that old...

It's round fifty that all the cool stuff happens. :P

I think they have to actively look for it. But, it can be found with blood tests.

Apparently diclofenac in dead animals left in the fields to die is a big reason of death in birds of prey. The vulture population in India was decimated, because of the remnants of diclofenac in corpses left for them. Reason for India and Pakistan to ban the medicin completely.
