McJ - that is a tough speech impediment to treat.  I had speech therapy with three other girls (oddly, no boys) in elementary school.  I had a lithp.  One of my friends had some kind of a malformation of the tongue that made it impossible to say her Rs.  She is now a successful adult.  It can be stigmatizing, but it won't have an impact on college acceptance.  ;)

Due to me being impatient really, trying to off my shoes as quickly as possible, there's now a nasty, although a simple one, knot in the shoelace of the shoe I wear on the right foot.

Me lacking sufficient nail-length (of fingers/I tend to bite them off too short) is of no frikkin' help either.. me, trying to unleash the knot.

OOps.....shite that was a bit too close for comfort...my shoelaces came undone, as I was working next door, almost tripped me whilst I had around 2 liters of 98% sulfuric acid in one hand (well, no, in a bottle, in my hand, obviously :P) and a delicate glass flask containing ICl in the other.

Could have got messy, although I got my balance back pretty sharpish.

I think I need listerine-photographers hypo flavor, though...I can TASTE iodine..or something like it, in the back of my mouth and it just won't go away :P
