Face was so swollen this morning I had only two slits to see through. Thank goodness the past three hours most of the swelling went away. Only my left cheek is now interfering with my sight a little.

Yikes, Hyke.  I have rosacea also, but evidently only mildly.  Did you know that W. C. Fields also had it?  Of course, his was worsened by his alcoholism.

I completely skipped the first stage, no spider veins or anything like that. Went straight for the inflammation. And now the edema is taking it up a notch. The only consequent influencing factors I have noticed to trigger an outburst for me are sun, hormones and stress.

Otherwise, one time I may react on a glass of wine, the other time I won't. One day I will react on wind, the other day it will feel good. Same with spicy food, though, I don't have the guts anymore to put four chili peppers in a sauce, alas.

Will not start with the doxycycline tomorrow, since I have to be outside all day, and UV light will be a bigger trigger after starting the medication. So, will start Wednesday morning. It should be calming down now a bit anyway. PMS time for my skin should be over now  :P

I was supposed to get a check today when I finished the house I was working on but he 'didn't have any' so I have to make an extra trip tomorrow to get it
