I worried that the lady next door had gotten a yapping critter for her BD, but, now I think it was of a guest of hers, staying over for the night.

She's great in training dogs though, so, even if it was a BD present, it would have stopped the yapping within a few weeks. Have seen her do that before. And she's the only one of the neighbours capable of that.
