Went down to the other house yesterday, they somehow managed to break all three light bulbs off at the base and couldn't get them out of the ceiling fan to put new bulbs in.

Cut the power.  Cut a potato in half and jam the cut end down on the broken glass, then twist out.

This is great nap weather.  Must drink :coffee: and get to work!

My mother's getting depressed about how her endocrine illnesses (diabeetus and adrenal) are keeping her housebound... she isn't acting very friendly because of it, sometimes.

Why is she housebound?  What happens to her if she leaves the house?  :(

She tried that before I got there I guess, not sure she hit the breaker first though.  :zombiefuck:

I ended up shutting the breaker off and twisting them out with a pair of needlenose.

That's how I do it too.

It's chilly in the house and I shut the heat off for the season two weeks ago at least.

If she stands up for a extended period of time, her breathing becomes labored and her pulse goes up quite a bit. Same as with any fludrocortisone insufficiency.

I ordered some books for uni to help with my assignment over a week ago and I still don't have them. I am now not a fan of ordering things through the mail.

Too early in the season parts, in a couple more months the kids will be out of school keeping them home, or the heat will.
