Had to tell someone the silver serving set they thought was worth some money was just silver plate and worth about $25 on a good day

My mum has a bunch of large, beaten up old solid silver forks and table spoons.  They're just used as functional items for day to day food preparation and serving; not as something pretty to be trotted out for guests.

Silver is around $30 an ounce it was up to around $50 not that long ago some new non-silver ones might be something to consider

Took some odd silver, and some broken gold jewelry in a few months back.

Wish I had a couple more drawers full of stuff.:thumbup:

Need to put some silverplate on Ebay, $5 box lot I picked up some time ago, I'm curious what it might bring, some of it seems to be doing fair. Now to find the box. :zombiefuck:

I weighed them, and the 7 forks and 7 spoons come to a total of 31 ounces (966 grams).  There are also a few silver teaspoons kicking about the place.

We had gotten a full serving set for eight when we got married but it was stolen by my brother in law's junky first wife,  all we have from it is a serving spoon that wasn't in the box.

I won't be getting the phone I ordered on the internet. The company I ordered from haven't sent the phone to me. I have to wait a few more days and then I will get my money back. I am thinking of just going to the shops and buying a phone outright but it will be more expensive.

Went down to the other house yesterday, they somehow managed to break all three light bulbs off at the base and couldn't get them out of the ceiling fan to put new bulbs in. (I'm suspecting a child related mishap, since both were being extreme little angels :angel: and watching me when I was fixing it. :LOL:). I think they busted the shades as well and mom had already fixed that (I left big box of spares in the basement ;)).   

Kid brat on the corner is always hanging on the side mirror of my truck, stops her bike and leans on to the mirror while sitting there.  :facepalm2:  Told her a million times, hang on the fence or the mailboxes, not my :GA: truck mirrors.

Yesterday she must have cracked it...hit a bump this morning and the passenger side mirror fell off. :zombiefuck:
