Mum collected a couple of tubs of really nice moss for me to use in my vivaria.  Unfortunately, she collected some of it from the area around the cellar door at her partner's house, and the moss had flakes of paint in it from stuff that had peeled and chipped off of the door over the years.  The door has a couple of layers of paint on it, and the bottom layer is potentially old enough to contain lead.  Since the moss was all mixed together in the tubs, I have to treat the whole lot as being potentially contaminated with lead.

My new colleague has already quitted, after bit more than a week, and two shifts only.

Good for her, and for all the right reasons too.

Sucks for us who are stuck with the job. I foresee a lot of phone calls pressing us to work extra.

There might be minor cosmetic differences between the regenerated limb and the remaining original limbs on close inspection, but it will be fully functional.  Newts and salamanders have the greatest regenerative abilities of any vertebrate group and can regrow a wide range of body parts.  Axolotls are frequently used as a model organism for studying their regenerative abilities.
