IIRC shingles appears as a ring around the chest about where the bra band would be.  Try taking some Benadryl pills or putting hydrocortisone on the spots until you can see a doctor.

I have itchy spots all over my torso :zombiefuck:

Could it be an allergic reaction?  Have you just started using a different laundry detergent?   :nerd!:

My mum buys a different detergent every few weeks so who knows. I've had a small itchy spot near my belly button for days now, and I found out while I was showering this evening that more spots have appeared over most of my torso (stomach, upper pubic region, decolletage, underbust). Feeling the odd spot or two on my back and neck now too.

Sounds almost like chicken pox, but most likely just an allergic reaction. You might want to get it checked though.

Shingles is a totally different animal. Usually clustered, starts off as tingling and progresses to small blisters, the effected area will be red and inflamed and hurt like hell. Doesn't itch, or never has for me anyways.

But soon enough, school will begin again, and they'll be out of the house!   :2thumbsup:

The spottiness seems to have calmed down for now, at least there's no redness in the spotted areas no longer so I can see where the spots actually are, lots of tiny red ones. Not as itchy today either.

Have you been getting sweaty; could it be heat rash?

No it can't be heat rash.

My self diagnoses so far are either the seven year itch, bed bugs or allergy :P

My ISP's special brand of idiots. They've still not fixed it.
