Well, it's happened now. He passed away this afternoon :(. It was strange, as crush boi visited him in the hospital this afternoon and he was alive when he left. Within the time it took for crush boi to leave the hospital and get to trivia (20 min drive) he died. He was on the phone receiving the news as he walked into the club.

I'm mainly just worried about my other former bosses behaving horribly towards me if I see them. They're my ex-bosses for a reason.

It just occurred to me that his family are too ill-spirited to possibly give him/pay for a funeral service. I'm not even sure what his wishes were to be honest.
Not that any funeral would be devoid of attendees! Plenty of people knew and loved him. Half of Comboyne village will turn up.

My speculation is when we end up with health problems, we have a hard time articulating them to our doctor. Executive dysfunction can get in the way for us to advocate and make appointments.

I have decided I wouldn't mind dying young because at least I will never have to worry about becoming a vulnerable elderly who loses their independence. I also do not see the point in life, I am only alive because of my kids and my husband and family would be so sad I am not here. If I were alone, I doubt I would be brave enough to try and take my own life. Plus I bet expressing this thought to any doctor would put me in a mental hospital. I even can't express this on social media either or Reddit fearing it will get the cops at my door step.

He's still at the hospital morgue. His family can't be arsed to answer the phone that's ringing non-stop to arrange transfer to the funeral home they haven't bothered picking yet.
They did change the locks on his house though! So nobody steals the things before they do. Priorities!

One of the residents wouldn't stop screaming while I was trying to deliver the cleaned laundry to their unit.

She didn't get the memo that she lives in the home now. Then again... a lot of dementia patients get that way when they're in an unfamiliar territory.

Of course, the ones who were taking care of her and the others were minorities... my co-workers do a good job with what they have to deal with. As do I...

Someone went though my wife's car in the driveway last night but didn't take anything.  Not sure if they went though the van it's always a mess and nothing was missing
