It just means being in a different place than a person usually is. Like if a person has been home all day, they might say, I'm going to the grocery store because I could use a change of scenery. It's one of the more literal idioms, but can also mean a change of pace.  :dunno:

Forgot my phone when I went out for awhile today didn't get a single call as soon as I got home the telemarketer scams started 4 so far.  It's almost like they know I'm near my phone again :tinfoil: :hide:
