I'm a casual worker so they can do that. I really hope they bring in more people soon. It's a big company but it's still in their best interests not to leave a big building mostly empty.

I was in the dark about just how fucked up the Canadian wildfire situation was until I searched for NASA photos.
I found this compilation.

If we can send billions of dollars to Ukraine for aid in an endless war, can we not afford a few billion to fly over these areas with some of our big planes loaded with our high tech fire suppressant.

3M, Dupont, Monsanto? Ya got anything?

Can we not come to the aid of our closest neighbor?

And BTW, Happy Canada Day, everyone!
 
No one seems to remember July 1 these days. The day the three main colonies in Canada unified and became a little more independent as one Dominion with a slight nod from the Crown. A hundred and some more years for Independence, but who's counting?

I'm sure I'll be corrected by our resident Canadian members, but I am anxious to learn.
