I need to clean the cages soon.... plus the cage occupants Yoko and Hana needs to be fixed up a bit... Hana's beak needs to be trimmed down a bit, best bet is to find a strong cuttle bone.

I don't think I mentioned this when it happened, mainly because I was hoping for a better outcome. But I decided to go in for X-rays.
I slipped and fell on concrete due to darkness, rain, overconfidence and those stupid rock landscaping pieces surrounding our planting beds. I love the look of the rocks, but I am becoming convinced that they may be dangerous.

I broke two ribs when I fell, kind of trashed my boinic hip, elbow and shoulder, but no harm there. Just broke the two ribs.
This is my third time to have broken ribs, so I knew the feeling even before the X-rays told the tale.

Doing well, almost no pain for a few days, but moving an amp in my garage today, I riled the injury up again. 
Now I can't even blow my nose or clear my throat without the same pain as three weeks ago.
I am dreading the next sneeze!

The ringing in my ears according to my mother shouldn't happen for someone my age...

Yet it's been happening since I could remember!!! Especially since the ear infections back in Pakistan  :'(

We used up all our luck when we found this home last year.

Exactly. I've applied for a nightfill job at Woolworths, but the ideal is to find a better day job. As I always say. I'll surprise you all and it will actually happen one day, I swear  :P

How long did it take to find it?

Mid July to early October after looking at dozens of other "No Fucking Way" places within our budget. We went outside our presumed budget to get this place, using some savings and cashing out some investments.

As I said, we used up our luck in one sweep, but we now have a wonderful home to live in.
