We've been "dog shopping."

I know we just lost one a few weeks ago and have another to care for, but the best thing we ever did for our recently deceased dog was to bring home a partner for him to learn to love.
I want to do the same for her. I don't care if she gets a sister or a brother, but we just can't seem to find anything but huge, angry, abused pitbull mixes or dying old broken greyhounds.
Nothing against pits or hounds, but we want another smallish dog for her to romp with.

They're just not out there.
