The supply chain on most items seems to be working well again.  But, certain items can be frustrating to find.  Today it was large pasta shells for having Mexican stuffed shells tonight.  I went to four supermarkets to hunt for them, finally found 1 BOX at the neighboring towns walmart....1 BOX.  Of course I grabbed it.  The cashier at one supermarket told me I wasn't the only one hunting them.  OY

Got new neighbours in the rental place next door, and he is always outside on the porch doing construction type work, which is cool, but he's constantly listening to loud vulgar music, which is not. I tried to yell over the fence to turn it down and it was too loud for him to hear me.  ::)

I just wanna garden in peace.  :violin:

Neighbours hey.

I got woken up by the neighbour across the road having a huge argument with some guy who was walking past. This was at 1am. The neighbour has a young child so I don't understand their behaviour.


My friend texted me about cordial that was available at Coles (big supermarket). I was there within half an hour of her message and there was no cordial to be seen. I'm growing to hate shopping more and more.

Shopping is almost like fishing.
I don't care much for fishing. I like "catching!"  I just go out where the fish are and I catch some to bring home. Whereas fishing is often more of a social event with others or worse; no fish! Sounds a bit too much like your shopping trip.

Maybe that is why I have gravitated toward "buying" many things online. Nothing to do with pandemic syndromes, just me wanting to avoid  "shopping"  and move right into  "buying"  what I seek and get it over and done efficiently.

Groceries are still troublesome, but  "buying"  cleaners, canned goods, paper products and some other disposables is so much better online.
I can thank the pandemic for that process becoming almost mainstream.

I'm just annoyed that I can't go through those loopholes myself to find another job... also having these restrictions with a Supplemental Income is annoying -_-

The neighbours across the road were away yesterday and it was quiet. Nice.

Today they're making up for it with what sounds like 10 people in their backyard all talking loudly.

I'm going to stop talking about the neighbours. It looks like they're here to stay and I'll just have to get used to it.

I wish my boss wouldn't try to act as an architect at meetings. He's been around but his technical skills are questionable.
