My retirement check usually posts on the last Friday of the month when the first of the month falls on the weekend.  It didn't this month.  Another day of pinching those pennies.

I give blood throughout the year.  Yesterday was the worst in almost 50 years.  For the first time I had a "moving" vein.  Evidently it moved during the draw.  I literally had blood running down my arm.  I have a swelling about 2 fingers wide and high.  Gonna be one hell of a big, bad bruise.  And the finger stick for the iron content is also bruised.  I'm actually considering not giving blood again.
