Found out why this 4 star hotel had such cheap rates for a family room including breakfast. The only thing I could eat at breakfast was the disgusting fruit salad that they had tipped out of a can into a bowl. No eggs. No bacon. No sausages. Just bread and muffins and cereal. At least the coffee was good enough to drink black and without sugar. Will take my own soy milk this morning. The bed is horrible. Soggy. Still, all part of the fun of a road trip on a budget. This is the 3rd hotel out of 6 we are staying at and I really hope that this one is the worst.

Feeling gradually better today. Part of the problem was getting sick on Christmas Eve evening and all the shops being closed just when I needed to go get meds/etc. Today my family went and got me some air shield, which is my go-to cold remedy, and decongestants, and it helped a lot.

Which is good, because I have to get up super early tomorrow morning to travel. :zombiefuck: Going to visit WolFish's family for a couple days and introduce them to the cub.  Been dreading this trip for ages but it has to happen.
