Van is getting really bad, well at least I should be getting a new(to me anyways) one in the next week or so
I may have to buy another car/truck. Not hat I need another car yet, but a "friend" has replaced his work truck and is wanting to sell off his old one for a song, it seems.
It is a Dodge 2500 4X4 '06 Model with only 70.000 miles on it. It has worn out mud tires on it, which are shit, but mostly it is a fine truck. He needed something bigger with a proper fifth wheel and dualies for his work.
The truck he is selling has a "conversion, bolt on" fifth wheel set up in the bed that I would remove and sell off.
Thinking hard about just going for it.
Back to this quandary, I did not need this truck, but I was not willing to see it go to an auction house.
I asked around and one of my neighbor's buddies had a use for this amazing truck at a decent price. It is a great truck, kind of beat up on the outside, having been used in construction for all of its life, but, oddly, the interior was really clean. The only bitch I had was that the owner, a "friend" of mine, dipped snuff and kept a snuff can in his hip pocket all the time. There is a worn in little round circle in the driver's seat.
Other than that $11,000 for this truck was a steal and a guy who NEEDED it got it. I was not even a middle man - more like hey bro, call this guy. Find out if he can swing it.
