I have a customer that is almost 30 days out on a $2000 bill which was supposed to be paid when I finished the job. I have done a lot of work for him in the past and have more coming up so I don't want to keep bugging him but it looks like I will have too :-\

I had one this past week I was worried would come to something like that so the last day on the job I took a bunch of photos of all the things the builder screwed up to send to the homeowner if he didn't pay but it worked out fine.

In the history of "festivals,"  have you ever seen a decent movie or was the entire thing a complete waste of your time and effort except for the sheer pleasure of enjoying your theater?


Oh, and FAT16 = ancient = useless = Thought we were done with!

There were a couple of films I would love to watch in their entirety. There was a Spanish screwball comedy that looked promising, and a French film I couldn't help watching for a bit. There are always highlights, and most of them unexpected. It's really the point of the festival for me, the unexpected films from nowhere. And no, I didn't watch them, it's not what we do as projectionists. We make sure others get to see them.

And yes, FAT16, what can I say?
