Just hang in there. Once you FINNNNALLLLLLLLLYYY   get your car it WILL be exactly what you wanted and you will be glad you waited, instead of settling for a color that "might also do OK."

Good god no! I would fail at keeping black swirl mark free. Plus this car is really popular in black and I don't like popular. The colour I'm getting is pretty dark still.

Yes, when I was ready to buy and approached the first dealer the options put forward to me were dark silver and the colour I wanted but with a heap of options I didn't want. I canned that deal because I suspected he was lying about what was actually available in order to upsell me on those options. My suspicions were confirmed when they got in a pearlescent white one last week :mad:.

Second dealer I connected with via a fleet company and they only had a plain white one coming in (and they weren't lying about it pleasantly enough), so I just said fuck it and ended up getting a factory order for my colour.

Speaking of cars, mine needs a service and I can't afford it yet. Plus I think there is something electrical going wrong with it because a couple of weeks ago I was turning a corner and the engine cut out completely. I rolled to the side of the road and put it in park and tried to start it. It started normally. The digital clock now wavers in and out. I am thinking alternator. But it could be something else. But I can't really trust my car now which is a bother.

Got a call today from Seek Learning. The guy on the phone described some very interesting IT courses. Only thing is, they cost thousands of dollars. Why can't they do as universities do and have HECS-HELP? A loan that can be paid off through the tax department when over a certain amount is earned.

I may have to do a night course which is cheaper.

Tried to book a flight and my browser got stuck on an "agent.dll" url and a blank page right after hitting the final payment button. I never got a confirmation email so I assume it didn't go through, and now I have to start from the beginning again tomorrow.
