It was from a truss in an attic I was working in,  I expect them in old renovations and such but this place isn't that old built in the 70s early 80s it's odd it's so splintery

"Meranti" was used a lot in those times here, for structures. And that splinters very easy in my experience. Nasty long ones.

They've found high levels of coliform bacteria in the tap water around here, so drinking water needs to be boiled first, until they've fixed whatever is causing it.

Two kids sick. Oldest has been floored by the bug the youngest brought in too.
At least they both tried to function today. Both downstairs and dressed at 6:15.

The electric circuits on the building I worked on today sucked, not sure how many times we tripped the breakers and moved cords to try new ones that were no better than the ones before
