I wish my right shoulder would stop hurting me when I need to reach for something.  It's my dominant hand.  Guess I should use my left arm more!   :-\

Or find a way to reach out in a different way. Do you lift your shoulder too much, when reaching out?

No, it's actually more when I twist it to reach over my body or around!  It doesn't interfere with yoga fortunately.  It does bother me when I latch up my seat belt!

I know the feeling from cleaning out sawdust doing set construction.   took a lot of rinsing out to get my eyes back to normal.

The worst happened when I dumped a trash can full of sawdust into the dumpster and since the theatre is on a hill, the howling winds created a huge dust cloud that nearly blinded me.  It was a few days before that gritty feeling left my eyes.

I had a similar injury last year. It lasted six months and wasn't getting better so I went to the doctor who sent me for an ultrasound. The doctor there said it was bursitis. After that it got better on its own like I knew it would if I sought help for it. Now it is fine.

That's probably what I have.  Tylenol and aleve don't help much, and the Zostrix cream helps just a little.  I'll try a heating pad at some point!  I did tweak it today at set construction trying to carry some thin plywood sheets from the basement to the stage!  OY
