lol. Just scrape off the top, then run it under hot water for a second, then scrape off another layer, then wipe it with a clean paper towel, then pray over it.

        It was partly eaten and therefore soft, so the dirt is probably everywhere.

  No, but full enough to annoy me about the waste.  Oh well, I don't need all that ice cream anyway!

Tech support lady in India was clueless.

They usually are, in my experience. Tech support in general, that is, not just ladies in India.

She continued to be clueless today, and then finally escalated the ticket. It should not be this difficult.

But it is. Support people really are that clueless. I've worked at a number of IT companies though the years and all but one either had clueless tech support or no tech support, which both amount to the same thing.

The one exception had an excellent IT guy at our office, but the IT policy was rotten to the core, to the degree where I had to install a personal firewall to protect my computer from unwanted software pushes from the central organisation.

We have an awesome IT guy but his time is at a premium. In this case all that was required was software installation (how hard is it to fuck that up?  ) and so I couldn't justify going downstairs and harassing him.

Clueless is worse than none at all due to the wasting of time thinking they might help and the aggravation that ensues when they can't.  My wife is a teacher and the tech department is so bad a lot of the other teachers ask my wife for help which would be understandable if that is what she taught but she is the art teacher who hardly ever looked at a computer before she got that job.
