I bought stuff at a bargain a while ago that had over six weeks delivery time.  :zombiefuck:
Yet ordering a book, from a regular bookshop, I had it within 12 hours.

^ Yeah, send them an email.. and got one back stating it takes at least 3 days for the money to be transferred to their account. That was three days ago (the email exchange).

I ordered the Würthof knife (plus honing steel) July the 1st and the webshop is named Oldenhof. Because I don't 'do money' via the interwebz I had to pay up-front. 'Trouble' here is, I think, that the payment goes via another mediating bank and this probably is causing the delay.

Most shops just send the products with a paper transfer form on or in the box.. and then I fix that the same or the next day. Went okay every time.

Me, not a person with a great deal of patience, is another issue in this matter.. probably maybe and also too. It would (by far) the nicest and best knife in my kitchen to date.

When considering the cost of repairs, also consider the prices of new. They're really good these days.

I need a desk top computer with a large monitor because PA has vision problems.  That limits the options significantly.  Desktops are getting hard to find.  Fixing may be the better option.
