I'm guessing you might have some relays on the front passenger side behind the kick panels that might have gotten wet...check your wiring.

Worst part is finding the leak...upper cowl, seal maybe? Get out the garden hose and start aiming...get the daughter's boyfriend to help...hit him with the hose a few times so that he respects your authority.

There has been a tree laying on the shoulder of the road a few miles up for over 2 weeks now, another inch or two and it's in the road.

They have been cutting trees back and brush for over a week now, this morning I went past and they were working on the other side of the road across from the tree...though it will be gone by tonight.

Nope...still there...maybe someone should put a big x on it so they can find it.

No, not at all.

I've been investigating this and all kinds of fun things seem to have happened.

First of all, it turned out that there was a clogged drain right below the pollen filter inlet. This was why the footwell got flooded in the first place. The water had nowhere to go.

The engine wouldn't start because it blew a fuse for the ignition coil. The repeated attempts to start the engine then drained the battery. Once I fixed these, voilà.

Now the problem is that the key fobs need reprogramming, because of the power loss.

Some issues remain. Most annoyingly, the key fobs must be reprogrammed. Apparently, these cars are very sensitive to weak batteries and such.

Getting it fixed next week.
