Thank you, Lord, that I only had one boyfriend and I married him.  Other people's lives sound so.................. at times.

So true. My ex has been in my life since I was 14. I really thought I'd have a marriage like my parents. They've been together since they were 15.

Well, I suppose being socially retarded helped both of us.  We originally met when I was 19 and he was 26 at college (1968).  Didn't meet again for about 13 years (1982), took about 6 months (1983) for a first date, 9 months for a second date (1984).  Got married I was 34 and he was 41 (1985).  If we'd married sooner there's no doubt we would have divorced.

You're the lucky ones. Ive had like 10 boyfriends this year alone. before that I was married for many years,though.

as for the being too young, sometimes I wonder if my very first serious boyfriend and I wold have made it if we werent both so young. I had some of the best times of my life with him, but at the time he was an 18-20 year old boy and , you know...

Could be   there was another smaller one right after I posted.  My brother had a plane crash in his neighbors yard earlier this month and made it on the news after getting the pilot out

The first night i ever did ecstasy a transformer blew up outside of my house. We nearly pissed ourselves, and my boyfriend when outside to see what was up. Big mistake as there were cops there. Cops knew there wasnt anything suspicious but asked him a ton of questions about the sound and the blast and everything. When he came back inside he was shaking

explosions + going outside + cops + E do not mix.

I had a transformer blow up in front of my house a few weeks ago. The whole thing smashed to the ground and the pole was on fire. Looked like one big ass cigarette. But it turned out being a huge deal because I had a hospital in my 'hood and it took down the power to a big portion of my city and the hospital was on generators.

Exactly!! I happened to be standing by my bedroom window when it blew and the explosion was not only loud, but really bright. Lit up my whole room and then power to the city went out and it was eerily quiet. First thing I did was run next door to my neighbours house and ask what her husband did. I thought he screwed something up (he does crazy stuff like that)

I worked in an FCCU unit (cat cracker) in 2000 where an 800 pound transformer had blown up and landed on a roof about 80' off the ground where it had been.  One of the Operators described the incident to me, I was not there at the time.
