I'm not surprised. One of the smallest whale species known averages about 11 feet in length; you'll probably be larger than that after your transformation is complete. Eat a lot of junk food now to prepare your layer of blubber for cold waters. :thumbup:

I don't think the labels are that clear cut. Everyone's brains are fucked up to some degree to the point where no one is 100% NT, me thinks. :dunno:

I wonder if there really is any major difference, apart from the social problems. I've seen plenty of non-aspies who are obsessive, who stim etc.

I know I wouldn't be with my husband or have the baby I have now. I would have taken a different pathway in my life and be with another guy.

I think AS is like any other mental illness or disorder (yeah I know it's not a mental illness before anyone jumps down my throat, but it's similar) in that everyone has "symptoms" of it to a greater or lesser degree, it's just when it has a big effect on your life and limits the way you can live your life that it becomes diagnosable

For example everyone gets shy now and then, doesn't mean they have social anxiety disorder
Everyone does little things like checking stuff or counting, doesnt mean they have OCD
Everyone feels sad sometimes, doesn't mean they have depression

and when I say everyone, I guess I mean almost everyone, as I'm sure there are some lucky people who never get shy :P

But yeah, with AS, plenty of NTs get obsessive or misunderstand things or have weird sensory problems. It's when all these symptoms come together and limit your ability to live a normal life that you have aspergers or autism

I find my HFA to be a disability in many ways so I am not that close to being an NT.

I would probably be a lot smarter and more social. I would have a job like a translator or something like that and travel and meet new people all the time and stuff like that. I would have a lot of fun as a non autistic I think.
