Just installing a cracked DL of civilization 3.

Raxy...you didn't complain? thats nice of you, since it is of course considered good grace not to speak whilst your mouth is full :D

Twinky stage...lol. From what I've read, those things don't so much have a sell-by date but a half life, with isotopic decay governing when they go 'off'

Thought it wasn't going to work for a moment. Forgot I had not replaced the .EXE with the cracked version. Its working nicely now, have played the original, as well as civ II. Never played civ III before...I like the 3d look, although just getting used to the interface. I've only been at it a few minutes though, so thats fair enough. I'm figuring it out, or will do. Still, made an advance or two, plus gotten a couple from some minor tribes. A road system between two cities, plus a couple of workers and defensive units built. On my way to add a couple of archers for ranged support, so as to send the warriors scouting, and have the archers help pop off any minor barbarians that get pissy.

Already had one lot get rowdy, although quickly put down.

I have to admit though, to a certain amusement at the incongruity of the sumerians eventually having the potential to field tanks and have the odd nuclear sub lurking around packing nuclear warheads, developing the laser, and space travel :P I reckon with such ambitions whilst still fielding swordsmen and on their way to an archer unit, this sumerian king must have a touch of the :autism:

^It's all happening there.

Only thing I noticed was that it was really difficult to get a parking space at the shops due to Christmas shopping starting in earnest and the food court was packed. So we went to a restaurant outside where it was less packed.

First they said it was 800ha and stated as under control, then it was 1700ha and stated as under control, then it was 3600ha and stated as under control...

Now it's 6000ha and supposedly under control LOL. I'll believe it when I stop choking on smoke.

They sound like they are telling fibs. Doesn't sound under control to me!

Martha, our cat, wants to stay inside because of the weather.  I don't blame her, she's 13.

Canadian army mechanics were volunteering on the Habitat house I worked on today.  They were here getting training at the Sikorsky plant were they build Blackhawk helicopters
