People who pour milk in and stir vigorously before pouring the boiling water in when making coffee are WEIRD.

I know a few people that do it! Their argument is that the boiling water burns the coffee granules and makes the coffee taste burnt, but on the other hand you end up with undissolved coffee granules floating on top :zombiefuck:

On a related note when making coffee with a Nespresso machine at work, I like to press the button twice to get as much coffee steeped out of the pod as possible. You effectively end up with 1.5 shots of coffee out of one pod this way.

Over the years of our living in this place, many observations have been made.  I am a very observant person, it's who I am.  Anywho, there is a dog and his owner who travel together by vehicle many times in this area.  In a car, he/she loves to stick it's head out of the car window and bark incessantly.  (looks like a hound breed or hound mix)  When the weather is warmer, his master rides a motorcycle with the dog in a caged side car.  Also barking incessantly.......I have called him "Doppler Dog", as in the doppler effect.  I hear it getting louder and louder as the pup comes and get less loud as it moves away from me.  A perfect example of the doppler effect.   8)  Lately the dog doesn't bark incessantly, more randomly, but, the effect is still there.  Sounds like doppler dog is excited to be out and about and "singing".  Incessant barking annoys me in certain cases, but, this makes me smile  as I walk and they pass me, or sitting on our deck and hearing it.  I've never met the owner or the pup.  But, when I hear that very distinctive bark I know Doppler Dog and his driver are on the road!   8)

When I was driving on the freeway south this afternoon, I noticed a lot of paint trails. You know, where a ute has a tipped over paint can in the back and it leaks paint onto the road. Fortunately I've never been stuck behind one (or I'd get paint on my car). Today there were all kinds of coloured trails, a bright blue one most noticeable. The can was on the side of the road as well.

^ That happens here often too (most recently at a roundabout near my house in the past week)
That and random off-cuts of plasterboard on the road to run over.
Occasionally I even come across a ratchet tie down strap on the road, they're always a good find.
