I don't see the point of the existence of the 'natural=healthy, artificial/invented=bad for you'

After all, plenty of natural things are hideously toxic, and some that are just generally poisonous, such as for instance, belladonna is actually vital, in the form of purified atropine. Which is a listed WHO-essential medicine, being vital for eye surgery, and in cardiology especially, the quantity in the plant being variable, and easy to have an accident with leading to poisoning, etc.

And many plants are just too lethal to be used safely in any fashion-aconite for instance can cause heart failure from mere prolonged handling the plant, the Veratrum hellebores are similarly so poisonous that its used on arrow heads for killing large animals.

Hippy is good though, they tend to be open minded and interesting...and plenty of hippie women are very tasty. :D

You are certainly quite the knockout:)

Well thank you

But that's not what I'm saying. I don't think everything invented/artificial is bad or that everything natural automatically means it's good. It all comes down to balance. Too much of ANYTHING isn't good for a person, even water.  :dunno:

In the end? To each their own  8)

Five minutes ago I was in the kitchen to make myself a coffee and whilst heating some milk I took a peek through the window there and, WTF, I notice some grey haired dude looking around. He was on 'my land' for about 10 meters (of property 'border') and..

So I went outside and said 'Can I help you?' somewhat aggressively (sørry). Turned out he was looking for house nr. 18 and he couldn't find it. Well, blahiah.. and I explained where it was and said 'good luck'.

Inside again I remembered I was making a coffee beforehand and rushed towards the kitchen to find I was just in time to not let the milk boil over the edge the pan. Was I 5 seconds later it would've made an awful mess.

(man, this life's just too adventurous  :zoinks: )

Neighbour made me grin, the other day.

She said the first time we met, when she moved in, I had introduced myself saying I was not the social coffee-drinking type, and she had answered that she could not wish anything else than that for a neighbour.

She reminiscenced about that, because, while I was asking her about my cat, the dad of our new neighbour tried to get in contact with us, warming us to the thought of daily coffee sessions with his daughter. He did not believe us, when we said that that was not going to happen. And tried a bit more. That will not make it easier for his girl.

Hu? BBC started a program 7 minutes late this evening. That's not very common.
