Checked my weight today, and I dropped 3.6 lbs

Goal is to at least lose 15+ pounds by end of May.

My new mattress is not 100% great, at least not yet. I've been having a lower back ache since I started sleeping on it. The brochure that came with it says it can take 30 days to feel comfortable sleeping on it so I'm keeping a positive outlook about it.

That's a pretty good sized one.  At least it was short duration by the sound of it.  I felt one that felt like a car had hit the house.

I'm going out on a walking venture today... first thing is first I am walking up to the pharmacy, then I am going to the phone store to upgrade my old phone. The glitchy situation is a bit concerning for me.

Do you normally get earthquakes where you are?


This was yesterday, but at the Salvos yesterday the bosses and other volunteers acknowledged my five years of service. They gave me a certificate in a picture frame, a $25 gift voucher and a five year badge to wear on my apron (we wear all black with a red apron). They also put on a lunch with various food and desserts. I had a delicious slice of pavlova. I didn't see their announcement coming so I was very surprised. I even had my photo taken.

I thought my five years service was in June but apparently the computer let them know it was now.
