sorry to hijack your thread again cbc,  its just earlier someone said about 'riding in on a horse'  or something similar.  Just want tp point out
that it was actually Lady Godiva who rode into town on a horse.  Coventry actually.  She was also naked but her long hair kept her covered.

Here is a pic of the streets of Coventry - where they still ride around in the noddy today!

riding naked on a horse is  :viking:

Do they do that every day, or just once a year?
Every day. They're actually delivering the mail. I think we should all chip in and buy Hyke a horse and tell her to toss her knickers.

Where are they hiding it then?  :autism:

These are no posties. They miss the necessary saddlebags.

Poor critters. Aluminium plated saddlebags, in silver and orange.

They would have to pay me more hours. Pretty sure my rounds would take a lot longer, with all the locals wanting another chat about the weather.
Another good thing is that no-one would attempt to make eye-contact.

1. If you could develop any talent, what would it be?
2. Do you have a hobby? (Postwhoring doesn't count :P )
3. What's your favourite chocolate bar?
4. I hope you know that some people in your life are missing out on your awesomeness. You are the kind of person everyone would be lucky to have in their life. Your friendship means a lot to me and I love you to bits.

1.) Well, in a perfect world I would be a  rock star  , believe it or not, but I have no musical talent.
More realistically, I want to learn some languages, which I believe is within reach if I get to work and persevere!

2.) Hobbies...well, I love listening to music, watching TV documentaries about weird diseases and ancient mysteries...
oh, and and I occasionally draw too! Pencil renderings are my favorite projects.

3.) I love dark chocolate above all, but many bars appeal to me. I love the fluffy centers of 3 Musketeers bars.
I miss Heath and Skor bars, but my molars are too fragile for toffee!

Sorry, I just read your post as "a group of women ride around naked". Anything really important in it apart from that?

Yes they do it in honour of Lady Godiva
Quote
According to the popular story,[15][16] Lady Godiva took pity on the people of Coventry, who were suffering grievously under her husband's oppressive taxation. Lady Godiva appealed again and again to her husband, who obstinately refused to remit the tolls. At last, weary of her entreaties, he said he would grant her request if she would strip naked and ride through the streets of the town. Lady Godiva took him at his word and, after issuing a proclamation that all persons should stay indoors and shut their windows, she rode through the town, clothed only in her long hair.

they don't just do it for the hell of it

i think he was turned to stone...or something equally extreme...

but you gotta remember Lady Godiva was wealthy, and she was doing this

to stop the poor paying excessive taxes
 :scratchhead:

or maybe she was the first 'exhibitionist'  and he was the first 'voyeur'  hehe

anyway cbc, what punishment would you have issued him with??

blah blah blah

That's a good question! Well, logically, I suppose I could have continued to tax him excessively! No tax breaks for the perv!  >:D
