ED seems to me mostly ranty rambling and curse-humor

uncyclo has a rather "failed academic" sound that i like. more "dry humor"

1.Voluntary impairment in social interaction;
2.The presence of expected, repetitive and stereotyped behaviors and interests;
3.Significant impairment in "giving a shit";
4.No significant delay in inappropriate language;

yeah, ok, maybe that sounds like me. I scored about halfway on the aspie test, but Ive got antisocial personality disorder.  and this sounds almost the same. Except people with APD usually have criminal records  :angel:

a quick wiki, and it seems almost identical to sociopathy, and you really never struck me as a sociopath...
i mean, you may DO tons of wrong stuff, but you also seem up to your neck in remorse :b

you know me very very well   :'(

Doc called me a sociopath because of a few things... I am highlighting the things that make sense, and strikethrough the things that are NOT Me

Diagnostic Criteria (DSM-IV)

1. Since the age of fifteen there has been a disregard for and violation of the right's of others, those right's considered normal by the local culture, as indicated by at least three of the following:
    A. Repeated acts that could lead to arrest.
    B. Conning for pleasure or profit, repeated lying, or the use of aliases. ** but one could argue that shoplifting or dealing drugs is "conning", that is what doc says. *rolls eyes*
   C. Failure to plan ahead or being impulsive.
    D. Repeated assaults on others. ***** not repeated :(
   E. Reckless when it comes to their or others safety. recless when it comes to my own safety
    F. Poor work behavior or failure to honor financial obligations.
   G. Rationalizing the pain they inflict on others. *** but I AM sexually sadistic sometimes

So, I dont lie to people, and I dont scam on people.

And I am VERY VERY capable of love :-*

You know that Im not a sociopath,  You've been talking to me for 10 years and Ive managed to stay pretty safe, and i dont fuck people over.

Doc says Im a sociopath

 :clap:

I think he is just a prude. Maybe I do have Aspergers, the rituals and sensory stuff would fit.

you arent a sociopath just because the doctor has made up his own meaning.

sociopath is a very harsh diagnosis, and you are far from being that.
maybe aspie. maybe something similar, related,

but not sociopath :D so dont get used to seeing yourself as such...

Yes, I dont really believe it.  ;) I do not really believe much of psychiatry. It is more of an art, really, and not everyone understands art. This doctor I go to, I see him for sleeping pills zzZZzzzZZzzz , so, I care little of what he has to say.

But he was really concerend with my past criminal behavior, and my recent escapades. I didnt talk much. I didnt think psychiatrists were supposed to judge you, maybe I shouldnt have been so open and honest.  :-\

Im too nice to be a sociopath  :hug:

Characteristics of people with antisocial personality disorder may include:[2]

 Persistent lying or stealing stealing ? only from stores. I almost never lie
 Apparent lack of remorse[3] or empathy for others I have a lot of remorse for the shit I sometimes do
 Cruelty to animals[4] NEVER. I would fucking NEVER hurt an animal
 Poor behavioral controls — expressions of irritability, annoyance, impatience, threats, aggression, and verbal abuse; inadequate control of anger and temper Ive had a few instances, but doesnt everyone ?  Im only rude to rude people that deserve it. Im a really nice person, actually
 A history of childhood conduct disorder conduct...disorder ? I guess so *rolls eyes*
 Recurring difficulties with the law yes, lots of this
 Promiscuity lol, have you met me ? :zoinks:
 Tendency to violate the boundaries and rights of others nope. I dont fuck with people that dont deserve it or dont ask for it
 Aggressive, often violent behavior; prone to getting involved in fights well, not really.
 Inability to tolerate boredom YES
 Disregard for right and wrong no. I respect others boudaries
 Poor or abusive relationships poor, maybe. abusive ? no
 Irresponsible work behavior sometimes
 Disregard for safety Uh,,,,,, yeah

maybe im just not a sheep. :zoinks: Im pretty drunk and no one is on MSN, so, Im talking about myself again.

sounds like he was focusing too much (or entirely) on the matter of _behaving within the limit of the law_ rather than actually getting to know you.
reminds me of that previous socialworker of mine, who tried to tie anything and everything in my life to weed smoking, so she could convince me to go to rehab for it, with absolutely no regards to reality and my real problems.
obviously, a major issue turned out to be aspergers syndrome  ::)

I find ED to be miles funnier.

I am not a fan of ED. The humor is not very accessible unless the reader is "in on" the joke. Also, like ZEGH8578 said, ED has a lot of mindless ranting.

On the other hand, Uncyclopedia is occasionally funny, although I don't find it to be "laugh out loud" funny. There is a subtle, subversive feel to the site that I like, even though they occasionally miss the target.

Just my two cents.
I2 has a smiley for everything. Even a hamster wheel. :hamsterwheel:

Meh, that Uncyclopedia article was dull with no lulz, but then again, I'm very desensitised.
Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

I find ED to be more accurate when it comes to taking the piss. Perhaps that's why I find it funnier.

:agreed:

Uncyclopedia's humor is definitely more subtle, but I find it funnier as well.
