Should kids be forced to shower together at school?

I had to shower and change in a communal bathroom after gym class in seventh grade. Usually I skipped the shower and just changed clothes.
I still was mocked by bitchy classmates.

Same.

Until I lost it and almost mopped the floor with one of them. Then they left my psycho ass alone.

In seventh and eighth grade we were forced to shower after PE and in Florida that was every day.  It was under threat of disciplinary action and getting a failing grade.  You had to check in with the coach after while still in only a towel and he would mark you off the list.  It was humiliating and degrading in my opinion.  The older bigger kids picked on the smaller younger ones and the coach thought it funny and joined in and  at times he would also watch. There were no cubicles just two central pillars with shower heads around them.  I have always been a private bathroom person and this was horrifying I hated school and he coach.  I was not one of the ones that were picked on there but in the rest of the class I was his favorite one to go after due to my at the time very poor motor skills and lack of sporting ability even though I looked like I was built for it I just could not do any of it at the time.
