But if you don't think it should be a legal matter, don't you mean you think women should be able to get an abortion if that's what they want?

You're making it harder than it really is. If it's not a legal matter then there's no should or should not.

But you're saying it "should not" be a legal matter. So doesn't that mean it "should not" be something decided by other people , therefore women CAN have an abortionif that is what they want?

It seems you're trying to force an either/or. Most people see it that way because it is a legal matter, and impossible to escape that fact. If someone says they think abortion is wrong, does that make them pro life?

No, somoene can think abortion is wrong and still be pro-choice.

To me, it is an either/or thing - either a woman should have the right to have an abortion if that is what she wants. Or she shouldn't have that right.

I'm pro-choice, but if I was pregnant with a health baby there's no way I would have an abortion.

What if you had been raped and made pregnant with a healthy baby that way?

I knew someone was going to ask me an awkward question like that  TBH I think I'd keep the baby. I don't think I could blame the baby for what its father done.

I don't think I'd bring a baby into the world if it wasn't going to have a good quality of life.

If the woman chooses to have an abortion, then I suppose he probably shouldn't be able to stop her. I would hate to be a guy in that position though.

What, you think that some guy who raped a woman has the right to make her keep the baby he forced on her?

WTF?

That has nothing to do with the legal either/or you speak of, but do think that's where the legal aspect of the issue should be. Twist on 'the father's rights', do you think men should have the right to choose not to be a parent?
