They need to start doing some chores around the house!

I have to learn to do chores first so I can teach them.  I have a lot of book learning about chores, but not much motivation.

Motivation is indeed the hard part. That and the decision-making needed to de-hoard!

Yeah, I often say that I was born lazy and work damn hard at it.

Weakling: don't introduce your parakeets to Ragtime, or they'll end up proselytizing and quoting scripture on WP.

Don't think he is anymore I don't go there but to poke around once and a while and I haven't seen him there in awhile

And Trigger11 did the same with me, as well as zOMG. At least I think he did.

Also, Weakling could train them to be Carrier parakeets for DHL.

:agreed:  Having jobs would keep the parakeets too busy to be disruptive!

Train them to deliver spoken telegrams. Make money out of their loud way of being.

Good ideas.  I'll send they to Hykeaswell for training in the intricacies of delivering mail, packages and messages.
