Wrong planet to support life?

I'm going to go with Mercury.

Discuss.

Er, could you elaborate on that? :-\
Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

Mercury is a poison.  ::)
It is also the closest planet to the sun!   You fucking jackass!

Mercury would be way too hot for any living thing on this planet to survive.   Difficult to imagine something capable of living in such extreme heat.

Venus is also hot as hell, and has lots of poisonous gasses (supposedly).

Thank you Alex, now I see what she means in context.

Mars is the most likely candidate for life, that's for sure.

I saw what she did there.

I am pretty sure she did it intentionally to fuck with the people that whine about WP threads.

Mars is definitely the most likely in this solar system.

Yeah, well she succeeded as I thought at first "Wrong Planet, as in the website? Wait what?". It was unusual phrasing of the question.

God, I'm having a bad day.

Maybe I understood it because I am stoned or something.   That doesn't really make sense, but what the hell.

Or it shows you don't care about or pay attention to the WP drama that much to get muddled by the context, and therefore unbiased to what was said.

That is exactly what it shows haha.   I haven't read a thread on WP in over a year.   Been a lot longer since I posted.   I did notice that she was making a play on words with the subject title and the content of her post though.

I just can't believe that I fell for it. :facepalm2:

She is good like that.

Also I know she is into Astronomy (IIRC she majored in it).   That probably is why I automatically went for the least livable planet in our solar system theme rather than the WP drama garbage... and the fact that she mentioned Mercury along with the word planet was a big clue.

It is not like you confused the planet Mercury for the metal.  Scrap on the other hand.... lol.
