Got Red Stripe today it's in 11.2 OZ bottles why?

Shrinking products have hit beer now. Producers do this because they can hid cost increases this way. Consumers notice price increases but not smaller products, or so I've heard.  ::)

Hell I even bought a "pound" of gunpowder that was in a 14 oz container!!!  :grrr:

Well it's not anything special about the beer just thought I'd try it

Another thought occured to me, it could just be because it's an import. I've seen some of these oddball, monkey-fuck metric sizes before.

I hate this downsizing products.  It's weasely cheating and wreaks havoc with old recipes.

Yes, downsizing. One of those crampon companies, think it was tampax, almost went out of business when they tried it years ago. Some things just can't be downsized.

Yes. It was really dropping from a 20 count box to 18, but the concept of downsizing crampons is funny.
