Just ate 7 mussels. Well, ate quite a few of them at yestereve's dinner. You know, prepared Dutch/Belgium style.. shortly boiled in beer with chopped up leek, onion, carrot and some dried herbs in the pan. Served with sauce ravigote, baguette, herb butter and a simple salad. Th'it.

Well, leftover 7 I seasoned and put through some flour and fried them. Nice.

I'm eating some fried pieces of cheese as an elevenses. Firm, a little aged, Dutch cheese cut into smaller pieces and melted in frying pan and set to harden again after that. It's nice but better not be on a diet or something for often snacking this tends to make one.. um, grow in horizontal directions.

I'm eating a nicely ripe peach. Just peeled off its skin with a (too big for the task) cook's knife but couldn't be bothered to fetch a smaller knife. Really do love a ripe peach though.
