My dinner looked quite similar. Didn't have fresh basil though. And, skipped adding meat.

Also ate more than I needed.

I have a love affair with spaghetti and always make a big batch because leftovers taste even better. When the meat and veggies soak up all that sauce. So good.

Food and cooking has become sorta my latest obsession (well, for over a year now). Probably one of the best I've ever had.
Really enjoy cooking now. Searching for recipes, watching fascinating TV programs about it, preparing it and yeah, eating it.

Think I should launch a food/cooking thread here.

(oh, the basil plant was bought at the Lidl.. and.. is basically tasteless.. no good.. )

Have you been to www.allrecipes.com ? It's the online mecca of recipes. I love it. And you can join for free and have an online recipe box so you don't lose track of recipes you want to keep.

My current obsession is along those lines. It's juicing. Combine fresh veggies, fruits, and herbs. About to go make one right now.

Um, have bookmarked the link now and going to dig a little deeper into it later on.

And.. although I own the elec. device to juice.. I must confess I've rarely used the apparatus.   Um, it wasn't cheap.. yet I've only used it no more than 5 times, I reckon, in the over 10 years I own the thing. Think I got discouraged by the bugger to clean the thing again.

I have to say I love my juicer. Now that I have favourite recipes that I can turn to, it's easy to use. Was handwashing it but just realized it's dishwasher safe, so even better!

I'm eating a wrap now. The thing is filled with some.. iceberg lettuce, red onion rings, cucumber, pickle and two radishes chopped small and some lamb's meat (pre-seasoned shawarma). Self made garlic sauce. Really nice.

I made corn and black bean quesadillas. So yummy

Simple dish with pan fried lemon sole, simple salad and double fried potato chips. (self made remoulade-like sauce)
 

(plus tomorrow, for the first time in my life, I'm going to make a dish with (the Eur. common) quail)

(and oh, if I'm not a bit careful this cooking hobby of mine is going to give me a bit of belly) (um, also for the first time in my life)
