Nothing yet, but I have to leave you sexy lot. I got an invitation to eat pancakes at the friend of my daughters an hour ago. (and my oldest daughter won't even be there)

Awww, enjoy, bring some back for this  little guy! ----->  :bunny:

I wouldn't pass up some pancakes either.

Onion bagel with butter.  :autism:

Bread is just good.

Oooo, nice! Do you toast yours very dark, or just barely brown?   :orly:

Just golden. That way the core of it is soft, and it has a crunchy outside. I even make eating a bagel into a ritual. I have a certain way of applying the butter, and after the butter is on I put the halves back together and let it seep in a little before chowing down on it.  ;D

I never tried a bagel (or real butter!) till I was a young adult, and I didn't like them at first, but now I love them.  :green:

Ah, thanks for the link, Hykeaswell. Good to know the exact divisions between the diff. 'ages'. Didn't know but I also meant what they're called in English..  Is 'jong belegen', 'laid young'?  Nah, nah, too lame again. (surry) Did some Google searching.. couldn't find it but.. hey..

Well, I'm eating a piece of dark chocolate with whole hazelnuts in it now..

Laid young  I prefer the extra laid over young laid.  :P  A good overjarige, heaven.

Love dark chocolate.

Oh dear. Hopefully he learns that one day the 'crunchy bits' off the floor are better replaced by lemon and crunchy sugar.

Lemon juice and sugar on pancakes are now what I'm craving!  :hahaha:

Introduced that yesterday to the family I was invited to. They thought lemon was sour.  :orly:

Unbelievable!!! Sour, no...tangy and sweet yumminess! I guess it's whatever you are used to. I grew up with them only being served with lemon and sugar. I wasn't until I was in my 20's that I had butter and maple syrup...and I can only stand a little mouthful with syrup and butter...it's just too sickly for me.

I only got it served for the first time with lemon about five years ago, and since then I am hooked.
I love the taste of lemon, and use it in a lot of things. The people I was with hardly ever use lemon. Guess that that makes a difference.

Mmmmmmm,

* craves another pancake with lemon and sugar. *

Oi, hyke, want to trade another bottle of whisky for crisps?

Hey, you left almost immediately after I logged on, welcoming with the horrendous back-up, so I did not even get the chance to answer with a YES PLEASE.

Crisps do nothing for me at the moment, and I forgot to buy me a bottle of whisky.

I just finished a home made BLT...or maybe BLCT...cucumber too.

It was perfect. Just enough bacon, baby grape tomatoes, a little home made tomato relish, thinly sliced cucumber, mayo and lettuce.

I blame Les for this. I haven't eaten bacon for probably nearly a year!

Ha ha...thank you. Sorry, there were no leftovers this time. Maybe next time!
